Held in an empty airport with “Born To Win” by BINI as the official soundtrack and orange swimwear for the theme, here are our top bets:
Maureen Wroblewitz, Pangasinan
With a modeling background at her advantage, Wroblewitz’s walk was effortless yet powerful and we were particularly impressed with how facial expression can go from friendly to fierce.
Jasmine Umali, Manila
A fan-favorite of this year’s swimsuit competition, Umali had a strong stage presence the moment she walked in. In full control of the sway of her hips, it made walking in high-heels look like a breeze.
Steffi Aberasturi, Cebu Province
Aberasturi topped the competition’s earlier runway challenge with her “Expressway Walk” video so it’s no surprise that she’s on this list. Her long strides, back turn and side glances showed off full confidence.
Katrina Dimaranan, Taguig
Taking each opportunity to strike a fierce pose, Dimaranan looked liked a pro during her time on the runway. The choice of a one-piece along with long straight hair highlighted the queen’s statuesque figure.
Bea Luigi Gomez, Cebu City
Gomez created a performance with her walk. She maintained a palpable energy until the very end and the control during her full turn proved that she deserves a spot at the top.
Leren Mae Bautista, Laguna
Another contender is Bautista whose walk was elegant but strong. She had full control of the hips, turns, and poses that made her stand out.
Chella Grace Falconer, Misamis Oriental
Falconer knew how to work the runway by taking side glances and looking the camera straight as she walked towards her ending pose.
Janela Joy Cuaton, Albay
Consistent from very start, Cuaton had a very regal walk with clean long strides and turns that worthy of a chance to wear the crown.
Kisses Delavin, Masbate
Taking her fans and the audience by surprise, Delavin showed major improvement in her walk with her turns and rhythm in the sway of her hips.
Christelle Abello, Aklan
Abello showed that she isn’t here to play by entering the runway with fierce walk and carrying herself with grace until the end. She’s a sure contender for the title.
