All for work-life balance
There is no denying that the hustle of Jericho is no joke. But when he has the time, he makes sure to enjoy his hobbies. From the land to the sea, he keeps himself busy with all his activities. With his love for riding comes his collection of motorbikes. He also loves the feeling of being at home away from home through camping. Apart from these activities, surfing is also right up in his alley. He even took his love for the sport in his 2017 film, Siargao. And recently, he and fellow artist Kathryn Bernardo even bond through sports like jogging.
Honesty is his policy
The boon and bane of show business is being an open book to many. The actor himself appeared in a number of interviews and cornered to answer questions about his personal life, especially when it comes to romance. Jericho is not one to run away from honesty in his answers, particularly in the matters of the heart. Years ago, Rosales gave a straight to the point answer, responding to Heart Evangelista’s statement referring to him as her “true love.”
“It’s a blessing,” he said to host Boy Abunda. “I’m so proud of her [na binitawan niya] kasi para ma-appreciate ng tao na kapag naramdaman nila ‘yung bagay na ganun, hindi nila i-take for granted. Maganda actually ‘yung nangyari sa mga buhay namin. Nawasak ka, na-damage ka, binuo mo ulit, inayos mo ‘yung sarili mo. It prepared you for that one person na makakasama mo habang buhay.”
Honing his craft is a must
In his comeback in front of the camera this year, Jericho will also explore the world of producing. In an interview with MJ Felipe, the actor revealed that he pitched a project to Star Cinema. “I came in as a producer,” Rosales stressed. After his pitch, he then expressed his willingness to fully go back on track as an actor starting 2024. As part of his return, Sellblock is premiering by the third quarter of this year. This May, he will be going to Cannes to study film market as part of his producer role. Who doesn’t want a man whose agenda always includes bettering himself? One thing’s for sure—we love a man whose goal is to constant progress.
