At this point, nobody can tell when the pandemic will end. Plus, the added stress that comes from all the new variants popping up isn’t helping with our mental and physical state either. But, what’s there to do when all has been said and done during quarantine? Try a new workout! We have always believed that the way to looking and feeling good is through a healthy diet and exercise. According to health psychologist, Dr. Kelly McGonigal, “When you exercise, it increases endorphins, dopamine, adrenaline and endocannabinoid—these are all brain chemicals associated with feeling happy, feeling confident, feeling capable, feeling less anxiety and stress and even less physical pain.”
Instead of suggesting the usual quarantine workouts you’ve already tried out, we’ve decided to give you a list of five new exercises you can do at home. Don’t worry! You can still add in yoga sessions or a few circuit trainings here and there, but it’s always a good idea to spice up your workout routine.
Jump Rope
If you still don’t know how to jump rope, then lockdown season is the perfect time tp learn how. You can jump rope either indoors or outdoors. Just make sure that you have enough space to workout. Aside from this, you can even try out different jump rope routines via YouTube videos.

Calisthenics
Want to achieve bodily fitness and grace of movement? If yes, then Calisthenics is the best exercise for you. For this particular workout, you don’t need any gym equipment to start out. Pilates
Taking pilates is now something you can do from the comforts of your own home. Before the pandemic started, trainees would have one on one sessions in a Pilates gym. Now, some of these services are being offered through online coaching. For the equipment, there are multiple workarounds that can be done for it.

This pandemic may have cast a dry spell among all singletons, but that doesn’t mean life has to be less sexy. Take a Chairlesque class and unlock your inner Christina Aguilera as you dance the night away within the four walls of your room. Animal Flow
This bodyweight program was created by fitness educator and movement coach, Mike Finch. Animal Flow is ground based movement that features animal-style movement. The workouts done in Animal Flow encourages strength and stability building through various sporadic moves. It’s a great workout to consider when you want to release a lot of stress away.
