The June calendar is rainbow-filled; a catalyst for discussions on progress and inclusivity, plus an invitation to get together for a good ol’ party. Whether you’re a loud and proud member of the rainbow community, or an up-and-coming ally, there’s something on the agenda for you. 1. Pride PH Festival 2024

The biggest Pride event in Southeast Asia is back; in 2023, 110,000 people came together to celebrate how #LoveWins. This year, the most vibrant parade and historic event of the year is inviting you to wear your Pride colors and raise your flags to join the movement for change, love, and equality. Entrance is free at the Quezon Memorial Circle on June 22. You’ll surely be marching with pride, and enjoying performances by Vice Ganda, Juan Karlos, Elijah Canlas, and more.

2. Pride Drag Brunch

Join drag queens NAIA, Deja, Shewarma, and O-A for a brunch on June 8 at 81 Basa, Quezon City. Get a full meal and a meet-and-greet with these performers at Butterboy Bakehouse’s first Pride Drag Brunch. Book your slot here, and while waiting for the event, taste a bit of the rainbow with their exclusive Pride offerings and flavors

3. Queerlayaan 2024: A Pride Celebration & Art Market

June 16 is seeing a celebration of queer artists at Sticker Con MNL’s art space at Whitespace Manila. Visit different booths and support over 300 local LGBTQIA+ creatives by purchasing their merchandise, prints, keychains, stickers, phone charms, and more. Enjoy games, giveaways, and special performances as well for only P100.

4. Komiket Pride

In advocating for Filipino komik artists and the local art scene, Komiket is a platform for all types of creators. This year, they’re also raising their rainbow flags for queer creators to showcase their work. From June 7 to 9 and 14 to 16 at Ayala Malls the 30th, Komiket Pride is opening its doors to champion LGBTQIA+ artists who are excited to share their stickers, prints, merchandise, and more.

5. RUNRIO Pride Run 2024

The sports community can never fall behind on the rainbow festivities. Join the RUNRIO Pride Run and celebrate inclusivity and diversity in a worthwhile experience. Have a freeing, enjoyable, and memorable race for 3K, 5K, and 10K distances where you can meet other members of the community and allies on June 22 at the SM MOA Complex. Register here.
