Adding oils into your skincare routine is an easy way to help your skin retain it’s natural moisture, while also repairing it from the seasonal elements.

Who says that oils should be nowhere near our faces? To the surprise of many, beauty oils actually contribute to achieving the dewy, luminous skin we’ve always dreamt of having. Here are some of our best tips to incorporate the products into our daily lives:
1. Put your best (glowing) face forward
Mix loose shimmer pigment (e.g. a powder highlighter) with a beauty oil and pat along the cheekbones, cupid’s bow and brow bones. Instead of highlight that site on your skin, this makes the shimmer appear more natural, as if your glow truly came from within.
2. Make your perfume last
Strengthen your perfume’s staying power by dabbing a face oil on your pulse points (your wrist, nape, ankle, etc.) before spritzing the fragrance. Trust us, the moisture on your skin will help lock in the scent!
3. Even out your skin tone
Beauty oils go way beyond the glow. If you’re having trouble correcting dark marks on your face, oils can even out your skin tone and improve the appearance of scars too.
4. Prep your pout
Dabbing a multi-purpose oil on your lips and leaving it there overnight will definitely leave you with a prepped pout this morning. This will help with your makeup routine the next day, as swiping your favorite lippie is now easier than ever.
5. Wake up with hydrated skin
If your skin is on the oilier side and you fear looking too oily in the day time, then perhaps you should add the beauty oil in your nightly routine instead. This will help your skin absorb the ingredients the oil has to offer, contributing to a fresher face in the morning.
