All you have to do is turn on the nearest screen and pull up The Batman franchise, the perfect set of films for the serious friend. Transport yourself to Gotham and you might even have a better time there than surrounded by the holiday spirit.
The Magical and Whimsical Friend
As precious as a child, the magical and whimsical friend sees the holidays with bright eyes. You absolutely love the jolly holidays: Putting up fairy lights, decorating Christmas trees, well-thought-out gifts, festive sweaters, you name it! You’re also the type to binge-watch the Harry Potter film series, cozied up on a couch, wearing your favorite sweater based on your house with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows in your hands.

While there are some delighted people when the holidays come rolling in, it’s not the same for everyone, and that’s okay. You haven’t even started Christmas shopping, haven’t you? Not judging! At some point, we all left things until the last minute. We don’t even know if you’ve got the time to watch a movie, but if you ever need a little break, we recommend that you watch The Flash, the fastest man alive. If he can cram ’til the last minute, so can you! Just don’t forget your last-minute holiday obligations.

The Christmas Chef is one of the holiday’s greatest heroes, spreading joy and love through their cooking. They’re gonna spend all day in the kitchen, so might as well watch one of the newest reality series Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking hosted by the portrayers of Weasley twins James and Oliver Phelps. Maybe this will make the chef hungrier, but at least they get to experience some magic and holiday spirit in the kitchen!
Party Elf
Your outfits are already planned out and you’re ready to party the night away! You party elves just love living life. You’ll most likely go home when the sun’s already up, but that’s what the holidays are all about: having fun. Sure to love drama and crazy plots, you’ll most likely love Euphoria. With two seasons already out, you’ll probably find yourself staying up late again, but this time to marathon the series.
