After its first installment last year, the GMA Gala is back for more and with more! With only a few days away from one of the biggest gathering of stars, everyone is on their toes for the event. And as GMA’s doors are opening to more talents including their Kapamilya neighbors, there is so much more in store for artists and fans alike.

Sparkle Vice President Joy Marcelo revealed that a thousand guests are expected to grace the occasion. For certain, the event will spark a number of ways that will make it one to remember. With that, here are some of the things that we are all hoping to happen at the upcoming GMA Gala.
It’s Sparkle season
The event is not just a reunion of the seasoned stars, but also a place where veteran actors and this generation’s finest ones can meet and interact. After their official launch last April, the Sparkle Teens are finally attending their first major event this year! With the attendance of GMA’s biggest and brightest, the gala will also serve as a soirée of sorts for established and emerging names in the industry.
Homecoming of queens
Before their big Kapamilya breaks, multi-hyphenates Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda once started their journey to stardom in GMA. Before her network transfer in 2004, Anne was a GMA star for seven years. Meanwhile, Vice began her mainstream television debut with the show Sis with main hosts Janice and Gelli De Belen and Carmina Villaroel. Making their network comeback with It’s Showtime on GTV is surely a full circle moment not everyone gets to experience in their career.
Crossing paths
Besides the glamorous looks of the artists that we can’t wait to see on the red carpet, it’s really the interactions between these Sparkle stars that we are all looking forward to. Who knows? The most-awaited crossing of paths between Marian Rivera and It’s Showtime host Karylle might finally happen! What about a power trio photo with Marian, Heart, and Bea? For sure, David and Jak’s interactions will also be a highlight of the event, if not Alden and Bea’s after the latter clarified their rumored clash.
