After taking a hiatus in show business, Sarah is back on television for her newest action-suspense drama project, “Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa.”

But now that she has turned 30, she underscores one more role in her womanhood—as herself. With her emphasis on self-love this time around, the actress will finally go back to her first love in the industry, which is acting.

Lahbati Gutierrez confirmed her comeback with an announcement on her new series, Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa, an adaptation of the 1986 film. “I have a five-year-old, we have a ten-year-old, so parang sabi ko, ‘Pwede na siguro ‘no?’ I’ve been a very hands-on mom, I’m still a very hands-on mom, so parang I want to do something for myself,” she explained in an interview with MEGA Entertainment Editor MJ Marfori.
Stressing on the subject of self-love, the Viva star pointed out, “If you want to be able to take care of your kids in the best way you can, you have to take care of yourself the best way also.”
In 2009, Sarah moved from Switzerland to the Philippines to pursue her acting career, starting her luck in the survival show, StarStruck. She made her last television appearance this year with a cameo role on The Iron Heart, her husband Richard’s latest project.
Amidst the news of the couple’s alleged separation, Lahbati has remained mum on their relationship status.
