In encouraging self-reflection and growth, there are some things that need to be worked on based on the weaknesses of the Wood Snake this 2025
This year, the Wood Snake is said to be very adaptable, intuitive, and communicative, which makes 2025 a good year to practice introspection. But of course, with strengths come weaknesses, such as delaying decisions due to excessive caution, the obsession with striving for perfection, and our struggles with confronting and expressing our emotions. To address these weaknesses for a fruitful year ahead, here is what we all need to work on.

Be Careful, But Not Too Careful
These days, it’s good to be careful—may it be people, environment, or decisions. However, excessive caution could lead to indecisiveness, and eventually delayed decisions that could make or break you. Don’t overthink it, trust your intuition, decide, and stand by your decisions. While it’s a bit difficult to tell people to stop overthinking, it’s a constant reminder to yourself before going too deep into your thoughts.
Embrace The Imperfections
We all have a bit of perfectionism in all of us, but perhaps it’s time to let it go and accept the beautiful imperfections that life has to offer. Constantly seeking the highest standard of perfection leads to harsh self-criticism, and possibly, exhausted relationships. The constant feeling of not being enough, not being up to your standards—it leads to never being satisfied and content with what you have. Embrace the imperfections.
Express Your Emotions
You’re probably tired of hearing this but—your feelings are valid! You are allowed to have all these conflicting emotions inside you, and while these feelings are meant to be expressed, you also have to remember that the actions led by your emotions may not be excusable or as valid as you think. Through self-reflection and a bit of help from your loved ones, process these emotions and express them responsibly. Let them out before they bottle up and explode.
Don’t be discouraged. In fact, it’s a great thing to recognize our weaknesses, and an even greater act to address these for a better us this Year of the Wood Snake.
