Have the talk with your parents

In the Philippines, most 20-somethings move out of their parents’ place after getting married. That’s why it may come as a surprise to your parents when you break the news to them before any wedding bells start ringing. Although, you shouldn’t worry. You’ve already saved up, made a budget, and found a place to show them you’re committed to the move. Just explain everything in a considerate and understanding tone, and you’ll be good to go!
