More than just beauty and brains

During this time, they experienced the unmatched hospitality of locals from different provinces. Apart from this, they have also organized and taken part in an event for Autism Philippines, a non-profit organization dedicated to the well-being of those on the autism spectrum disorder.
Runway and Q&A training
If you are a pageant fan or just a casual viewer, the catwalk and Q&A are two of the much-anticipated portions of the competition. At the heart of pageantry, the signature walk of candidates where they showcase their physical attributes with confidence is one of the moments that can make them stand out.
In an exclusive access to MUPH of Empire Philippines, Christine Salcedo and Klyza Castro share their experience during the pageant training. “Very fun and productive and I really can’t wait to apply what I learned today sa Miss Universe Philippines stage,” Christine Salcedo said on the energy she aims to give whenever she walks so that the audience can also feel the same way. Meanwhile, Klyza Castro shared that she wanted to apply these learnings to the MUPH stage: “Smooth transitions in my walks and my turns, and keeping that fluidity makes me an elegant beauty queen.”
On the other hand, the product of Q&A training has showcased the intelligence of women through online content, which includes solo interviews with candidates. In these interviews, we see how each candidate has the unique ability to communicate their individual passions to the audience.

One of the 40 candidates that has quickly become a favorite since she signed up for the competition is none other than Angelique Manto. In her interview with Empire Philippines, we can see her love for the city of Pampanga, but what truly makes Angelique a strong contender is her transformation on stage. She has shared that she is an introvert despite her job making her look like a social butterfly. However, when she is fired up on stage, she becomes a different woman of confidence and wit altogether.
Meanwhile, Jannarie Zarzoso’s pleasing aura is the reason why most people on social media root for this aspiring beauty queen. Jannarie is proud to show people that she is service-oriented as a woman of Agusan Del Norte. She is also adaptable and flexible when interacting with people from different communities.
Eileen Gonzales is another fan favorite that will surely receive so much support during the preliminaries and coronation night. Beyond her beautiful visuals, she is already a queen in her own right because she is also a proud single mother.
