ArteFino continues to showcase their support towards local brands and communities with their upcoming festival from August 24 to 27 at The Fifth at Rockwell
It is known in the Philippine art landscape that the country’s three major divisions carry a distinct form of artistry. These can be distinguished through their passed on traditional weaving practices, favored color schemes, and even in their interpretation of fine arts—all of these are celebrated and preserved over the years.

To display such artistry not only gives recognition to the heritage of each region, but it also gives opportunities to the many communities that continue to practice such traditions. We see this come to light as ArteFino invites various artisans from all over the country to showcase their one-of-a-king creations, all of which are ready to be seen by the public.
Founded by Cedie Vargas, Marimel Francisco, Maritess Pineda, Mita Rufino and Susie Quiros, ArteFino recognizes the importance of providing a platform to those who don’t have access to such activities. Most of the time, artisan-made creations would be known in their respective areas, but it’s rare to see them be taken to the big city and be continuously supported over the years. These are the sole reasons as to why ArteFino was founded in the first place—to become a space dedicated to all.
Since their launch back in 2017, it’s safe to say it has supported many communities that continue on with their partnership to this day. And as they continue to expand, many artisanal brands have gone under their wing to showcase the works that have yet to be discovered in the local scene.
Most of them flew all the way to the city to properly showcase their creations, as well as give an in-depth story of their brands. Like many homegrown brands, their advocacies span from supporting indigenous tribes, preserving the traditional practices, to giving support to the livelihoods of the families. These are the efforts done by every brand in which ArteFino supports wholeheartedly.
Since the interest towards conscious-living has been greater than ever, the expansion of their line of brands and labels have doubled. This caused them to have their festival in two spots to give enough platform to all. Happening from August 24 until 27, everyone will be able to visit the event at The Fifth at Rockwell and North Court, both located at the Powerplant Mall.
