First meeting
Most people will probably agree with the assumption that in almost every relationship, there is a meet-cute. In 2014, Shawn and Camila met on an Austin Mahone tour where the former Fifth Harmony member did an opening performance. During those times, Camila revealed that she wanted to hang out with Shawn, but did not have a chance because he was the kind of guy who spaces out with his guitar inside a tour bus.
First collab
It was in 2015 when the two officially collaborated through a song titled “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” which happened backstage at a Taylor Swift’s concert. While they did promo interviews for the song, Shawn shared that they only considered each other as close friends.
