A Rundown of Catriona Gray’s Hosting Looks at the 60th Binibining Pilipinas

Catriona Gray has mastered the art of outfit changing as one of Binibining Pilipinas’ hosts, serving four looks throughout the pageant

Miss Universe 2018 proved to be a diamond herself for Binibining Pilipinas’ diamond jubilee, giving the nation a fashion parade of her own. It’s not the easiest task, but Catriona Gray managed with aplomb, donning four ‘fits fit for a queen. When it’s Catriona hosting, expect humor, banter, and plenty of stylish moments that rightfully earn their spot in MEGA’s lookbook.

Statement Hooded Dress

The beauty queen started the night dripping in emerald green, a strong precursor to her next fashion statements. She slipped into a custom Anthony Ramirez—a slinky, floor-length dress that came complete with a detachable hood made of satin-like fabric. The sequin-embellished, halter top hugged her bodice, and the form-fitting skirt cascaded down her figure beautifully.

During the opening segment, the queen gave the country another look at her much lauded lava walk in this number, proving that she still has it even after six years.

Hot Pink Moment

Catriona stood out in a hot pink number also by Anthony Ramirez that invoked ultra-femininity. With the electrifying hue combined with a criss cross necklin and a chiffon-pleated train made her second look feel fresh and modern.

The hue also referenced Catriona’s hot pink swimsuit last Miss Universe 2018, where she did her historic slow-mo turn.

Iconic Lava Red

Form-fitting silhouettes and shine were in Catriona’s repertoire for the evening, this time in a red and silver balconette dress. The iconic lava queen goes back to her crowning moment with this look during the evening gown segment: this number’s fiery red echoed her own evening gown back on the Miss Universe stage last 2018. It featured ruched details at the bodice that wrapped around her arms to cascade into full-sleeved gloves, and mesh-like fabric with folded panels at the skirt.

Black and White Elegance

Concluding the 60th Binibining Pilipinas, Catriona donned a textured corset dress with a statement rose, structured skirting, and off-kilter tailoring. The queen proved to be a true style chameleon in classic all-white with a confident black accent—the satin was an elegant slip atop a black, mesh innerwear, and the skirt featured delicate drapes that added a touch of precision and drama. The queen finished the competition in a clean, monochromatic palette that ensured an extra polished look—and another majestic moment even as a new Binibini was crowned.
