2000s: Their early beginnings
As a child star surrounded by family members in the industry, Julia is no stranger to the world of show business. Before her teenage television comeback, the actress already portrayed a number of roles as a kid. It is no surprise then that she is familiar with older actresses even as early as that time. In one shoot, she posed with the likes of Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, and sisters Megan and Lauren Young in the frame.

Early 2010s: Their shared stages
For a time, both Bea and Julia had their “ASAP It Girls” moments at the variety show, performing along with the brightest stars of their respective generations. During their time under the management and the network, they would be part of productions from time to time. Of course, their own careers would also prove that they both excelled in acting, whether for romcoms or drama series and films.
Late 2010s: Their first project
Extending their ASAP appearances till the late 2010s, the two even had bonding moments together during the ASAP in Toronto show in 2017. In that same year, they finally had the opportunity to work together for A Love to Last, where Bea played Julia’s stepmother in the show.

Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto were finally spotted hanging out together at the “Night of 100 Stars.” From passing a shot glass to Bea, to holding her arm while whispering something to her ear, it looked like the two were genuinely happy to have reconnected. In response to Julia’s actions, Bea accepted the shot glass and even laughed in response to what Julia was saying to her. They were later on spotted near each other at the group photo, with the younger actress hugging her aunt, Claudine. Meanwhile, Bea was beside Mr. M.
