FranSeth is a prime example that eventually, two people can find their way to each other
The right time. That’s how we can easily describe the tandem of Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin. Collectively coined today as FranSeth, they are celebrating their “fifth anniversary,” according to the young actress in a Instagram post. In the years that they have been co-stars, real-life friends, and on-screen partners, chemistry is definitely undeniable in their relationship. With their genuine bond as their foundation, MEGA Entertainment gives you a lookback on how they solidified the FranSeth magic over the years.

It all started with a squad
After his Pinoy Big Brother stint, Seth joined Kadenang Ginto as Mikoy. At the span of the afternoon drama, the two had their respective on-screen teenage partners. But as the young stars of the series, they formed the Gold Squad and did vlogs during their free time. From doing challenges to pranking each other, they were like a real-life barkada who would enjoy the company of each other. Francine and Seth’s last project with Andrea Brillantes and Kyle Echarri was Huwag Kang Mangamba during the pandemic.
A long time coming
In early 2022, Dreamscape Entertainment announced their drama-thriller series Dirty Linen, including Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin as part of the cast. After the long wait of their fans, they finally saw the chemistry of the two as Chiara and Nico in the series. Marking this show as their first official project as a love team, FranSeth stepped up individually and together.
It seems like their pairing has an inclination to the crime and thriller genre with the mini series Fractured following suit after Dirty Linen. Will their next project be under the same theme, or will they explore more themes soon? We’ll have to tune in for that.
Their other side in vlogs
After their Gold Squad stint, they eventually made vlogs together, especially in Francine’s YouTube channel. From challenges to their out of the country adventures, the pairing would show different, more casual and adventurous versions of themselves in their videos.
The prelude to their pairing
Months before the first episode of Dirty Linen, FranSeth actually starred in the music video of Ace Banzuelo’s Muli. This served as their fans’ first preview of what was about to come then for their series. Acting as lovers whose feelings had set into flames, Francine and Seth got the attention of the viewers for their eyes that could speak and their effective dramatic expressions. They also starred in their second music video for NOBITA’s “Tayo Na Lang.”

Along with their projects together, Francine and Seth have also been spotted in several events together, from the Star Magical Prom to the ABS-CBN Ball. Starting from their sweet and youthful energy, they slowly but surely transitioned into more mature looks over the years. You also can’t miss the actor’s promposal for Francine, which included the participation and approval of the latter’s family.
A reassuring reminder
At the height of the FranSeth fever, Francine also worked with Seo In Guk for their collaboration song, “My Love.” Although she expressed her openness to keep working with other leading men, the actress affirmed how much her tandem with Seth means to her. In an exclusive interview with MEGA Entertainment, she said, “Open naman po talaga ako to work with other leading men, with other actors, pero it doesn’t mean na hindi ko vinavalue ‘yung tandem namin ni Seth. I am still grateful and I appreciate the love na binibigay ng fans namin pero ganun din naman ako with Seth. If he wants to explore more, kasi syempre dun kami mag-grow sa craft namin, siguro as a person din, why not?”
More years to come
Both Francine and Seth took to Instagram their celebration of their pairing, respectively sharing their own memories for their fans. Coming from their “Love Team of the Year” award at the 12th KAKAMMPI OFW Gawad Parangal last December 2023, it is a testament to their impact that can go bigger from here. This year, will we finally expect them top billing their first teleserye ever? If yes, any guesses on what it would be about? Whatever it is, it should be worth waiting for their fans!
But while we’re waiting for their primetime comeback, FranSeth will be making their big screen debut as a pairing with My Future You soon, a gift for their fans that came a day after their celebration of their anniversary.
