This is where After The Noon comes in, a music label and artist management company founded by Arthur Tan, Enrique Fausto, Paolo Jaramillo, and Kendra Wahono. Their mission? In an exclusive interview with MEGAStyle, the founding members of After The Noon shared their thoughts on what sets their label apart from others, their current roster of talented artists, and what we can expect from the label in the near future.

After The Noon

“ATN (After The Noon) was established with the full intent of being the force that pushes DJ and electronic music careers in the Philippines—creating a platform that champions the artistry of both DJing and producing. ATN envisions a better [and] elevated music-based livelihood for DJs and producers in Asia. The label was born from a vision shared by four friends that share the determination to make such an idea into reality,” shared Kendra Wahono, one of the co-founders of After The Noon.

What sets the label apart from others is not only their recognition of DJs and producers as artists, but also the range of talent they nurture. From house, techno, drum and bass, world sounds, to pop—they take in all forms of skill and carve out lanes of artistic realization for each of the talents they have.

Their current roster of nine artists, including Arthur Tan, HOEST, Tom Suplico, Roy De Borja, LUZE, LONER, Marco Pedro, ManilaJunkie, and Angela Rayos, showcases the label’s commitment to nurturing diverse talents in the music industry.

After The Noon team

Over the course of two years, After The Noon has grown from a small team of four to now having 10 members, apart from their artists, achieving remarkable feats in the process. They have flown in international artists from different countries, namely BRII, Elliqa, Naken, Soltice, and Franchise. On top of this, they have also simultaneously handled multiple campaigns for song releases and promotional tours with locations nationwide and internationally, such as New York, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, and more.

After The Noon

Last October 9, 2022, After The Noon even created a music festival titled Love Ya, featuring an array of talented musical collectives such as Careless, UNKWN MNL, Kindred, Bad Decisions, and Manila Community Radio. The festival aimed to bring together the different communities of the local music industry and celebrate the up-and-coming talent in a fun and energetic atmosphere.

The performances were a blend of various genres, ranging from R&B and hip-hop to electronic and indie rock, making it a diverse and exciting experience for music enthusiasts from one end of the spectrum to the other. Overall, the Love Ya music festival was a massive success, showcasing the vibrancy and creativity of the local music scene.

But the label’s journey is far from over. In the near future, After The Noon plans to continue their efforts in organizing large-scale events featuring international acts, and embarking on promotional tours. Additionally, we can expect more individual successes from each of its artists and a wave of Asia-forward music by DJs and producers globally.

After The Noon

After The Noon’s second anniversary, which will be celebrated on March 31st at Zero Studio, marks a milestone for the label. As they continue to elevate the music industry one DJ at a time, After The Noon serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for aspiring musicians everywhere.
