From Serpenti to Divas’ Dream, these are the Bvlgari pieces that Catriona Gray wore for her recent cover shoot with MEGA

In MEGA’s October 2023 issue, a former Miss Universe graced the cover, candidly sharing the unrealistic expectations placed on women, as well as the impact of social media to one’s identity. As the intimate exchange transpired, she was adorned in jewels that represent femininity in its highest form. Each piece was meticulously curated to create the ideal balance between the grandeur of the gems and the elegance of the chosen looks. To give proper recognition to the precious stones, we took a closer look at the High Jewelry Bvlgari pieces Catriona wore for this month’s issue.

Striking pink-purple hues

The sculptural finish of the white asymmetrical dress designed by Jaz Cerezo was able to emphasize the brilliant colors of the High Jewelry pieces on Catriona. The necklace had five oval cabochon rubellites and amethysts hanging from the diamond encrusted gold cord.

The pink continued on with the platinum watch and platinum ring that had diamonds and rubies as well. For the finishing touch, she wore another ring that was finished in yellow and white gold with 28 marquise brilliant cut diamonds.

A Mediterranean escape

Another burst of vivid colors come into view for this look. Paired with the blush metallic dress of Rob Ortega, it was able to accentuate the pink and gold pear cut stones and the turquoise cuts of the High Jewelry necklace. To complement the warm tones of the necklace, the Serpenti Misterios was used since it had gold accents on the scales.

Timeless diamonds

The understated gold dress by Cheetah Rivera gave the perfect limelight to the coordinated Serpenti jewelry Catriona wore. The necklace was adorned in white gold and two dainty pear cut emeralds, while the ring only had one oval emerald. For the bracelet, it was able to match the necklace since it was decorated with two emeralds as well.

Green regality

There was an aura of royalty because of the exquisite emeralds adorned on the jewelry Catriona wore with the silver cutout dress designed by Chynna Mamawal. The princess cut necklace had one cushion emerald that made its home at the center of the piece, while dainty cuts of the gem and diamonds surrounded the cord.

For the watch, it’s actually part of the Maison’s Divas’ Dream collection that had white and gold accents, and emeralds at the center. Lastly, the tiered earrings that had two dangling pyramidal cabochon-cut emeralds to emphasize the grandeur aesthetic of the overall look.

Oceanic gems

Seen at the cover of the issue, the beauty queen had on a gold dress by Chris Nick, paired with radiant blue pieces. The platinum cord of the necklace was decorated with diamonds, which held a one pear Sapphire cut pendant. Meanwhile, the earrings were finished with two pear “cornflower blue” sapphires done in a drop manner, and it was then completed by the Serpenti Intrecciati that also had similar hues.
