Kim Cattrall is confirmed to reprise her iconic role as Samantha Jones in the second season of the Sex and the City revival. However, it is set to be a brief appearance. The sources spilled the tea as they revealed that the actress was seen shooting her dialogue without speaking to or seeing the rest of the cast. But all drama aside, we can’t help but wonder—can her cameo save the plot of the show?

So what made her decide to give it another try? According to reports, CEO of HBO and Max Content Casey Bloys offered the project to Cattrall, which led to her decision to say yes. And while the show hasn’t disclosed the full details of her brief cameo, it definitely gives fans something to look forward to in the next season, which is set to premiere on June 22. However, sources have noted that Cattrall’s episode won’t air until August.
