2000s Asian Makeup
This year saw the major comeback of the year 2000s, and the internet couldn’t get enough. It was all thanks to that viral TikTok challenge where everyone lip-synced to Lee Hyori’s K-Pop hit “10 Minutes,” all while sporting Y2K makeup and fashion that we never knew we missed.
This was Andrea’s first entry. With light blue eyeshadow, brown lip liner topped with gloss, and the signature thin and lightened eyebrows, she recreated the defining look of the era. A half-updo with face-framing strands and silver lips added the perfect touch of the 2000s. It was a throwback done right.
Marimar
Next was a Marimar moment. A few months ago, the internet joined in on the Marimar challenge, in which different personalities—including Marian Rivera herself—slipped into the role of the iconic island girl from the 2007 hit telenovela.
Andrea made it look easy. She had long, beachy curls tousled by the ocean breeze and a perfect sun-kissed flush across her cheeks. Like the others, she swayed to the Marimar theme song that had her stack of pearl necklaces and nude fringe outfit dancing with her. No heavy glam, just that natural glow after a day at the shore.
She’s no stranger to a good transformation. As her good friend Bea Borres playfully reminded her, “Tama ‘yan, bumawi ka because you don’t have a Halloween entry,” it’s clear—Andrea’s not one to let a challenge slide by.
