There’s a special place in our lives reserved for friendships that have transcended the test of time.
Imagine being in high school or college and talking to your best friends about your future plans. You exchange “Bridesmaid ka, ha!” or “You’re the ninang of my future children!” Life happens, but you’re there at their wedding and they’re present in your child’s birthday.
Luckily for some, they need not imagine it all. Yesterday, Bea Alonzo and Angel Locsin just threw a surprise baby shower for one of their closest friends, Dimples Romana! FYI: Bea is the godmother of Callie, Dimples’ eldest; Angel, meanwhile, is Alonzo’s (the middle child) ninang.
As a bookworm herself, Dimples was overjoyed with the Peter Rabbit-themed shower, complete with a storybook arch! Guests were clad in shades of blues and white to match the whole motif.
Angel shared in her Instagram post that they ghosted Dimples to avoid spoiling the fun. The latter even thought that it was just a brand shoot that she was attending!
Neil Arce and Dominic Roque, Angel and Bea’s significant others, respectively, also attended the baby shower.
Baby Elio is one the way, and everyone is already excited to meet him!
