Anne Curtis Rocks Nostalgic Looks In Her Concert Teaser Photos

By

Daring with a burning passion to reach for her dreams—that is how Anne Curtis is, and how she will always be.

Anne will never be not young at heart. That is not to say that she has not matured in life, because that is far from her reality. She is not childish, but childlike. From her boisterous laughter to her openness into trying out new things, she is aging with a certain gracefulness that not everyone can achieve.

The thing about her is she is also not content with what she has done as an artist. Anne wants more, and she’ll get more. She constantly proves that dedication and passion can fuel you to conquer what you thought you could not do. And if she does something, she gives more than a hundred percent.

Of course, with her comeback, she’s giving us an extra special treat! Anne will once again dominate the stage in her concert, Luv-ANNE, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila this June 11.

And with the different looks she rocked in her teaser photos, we’re bound to have a night of fun with a little twist of nostalgia in her show! Here’s a breakdown of her teaser looks:

The Mugler Muse

Spoiler alert: Anne is rocking not just one, but four main pieces from the famous brand! She’s definitely giving us a throwback to Mugler’s 1995 Fall Couture with the oversized headpiece and the red lip statement.

Anne also took inspiration from Mugler’s theatrical bug eye piece in the Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1997 Collection, and mixed it up the leather agenda during the 90’s. If that moon top from Marine Serre rings a bell, that’s probably because you’ve seen it from Jennie of BLACKPINK, Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, or Beyoncé.

Mugler’s bodysuits are always a good idea, especially if you can spice it up with some The Matrix or Bratz vibe. If there’s anyone who knows how to show some sophisticated skin, it’s Anne.

The True Blue 90’s Babe

From the sleek spiky bun to the dresses, to the strappy footwear—it’s definitely a blast from the past. The velvet dress from LaQuan Smith is a fresh take on the trend.

From one strappy sister to another, the MÔNOT slip dress is a perfect match for those white platform sandals from THE ATTICO.

Hey, who didn’t think of the Spice Girls with that Courrèges mini dress and Nodaleto knee high boots pairing?

The 90’s would not be complete without the vogue of the sheer top, so Anne does with it Gucci.

The Y2K Advocate

Anne is playing the 2000’s pop icon role really well with the butterfly top from Area. The nostalgia is definitely in the details—that frosted blue eyeshadow and hair twists complete the whole look.
