At this year’s Opulence, Anne Curtis proves that a true dyosa always reigns beyond the hands of time with any look
The Opulence Ball 2023 was nothing short of an homage to mythology and folklore last night. Taking inspiration from gods and goddesses, as well as a nod to fashion’s glorious moments, the guests were a pantheon enjoying their overflowing ambrosia as they celebrated Halloween. Among the parade of godly figures at the occasion, Anne Curtis stood out as she paid homage to her timeless Dyosa look.

Anne channeled her triple “Takda” role as Josephine who had three sides of her goddess side as Cielo, Tierra, and Agua. The actress-host highlighted the intricacy of details displayed by Greek statues in a white, Di Petsa piece with gold-crusted strapping and rose quartz crystals. Meanwhile, her halo crown is a collaboration between Job Dacon and Kinala Wang.
“We were going for a wet goddess look,” she said in an exclusive with MEGA Entertainment. Makeup artist Robbie Piñera accentuated her overall ensemble with a bronzed, dewy makeup look. Meanwhile, hairstylist Raymond Santiago finished the whole look with signature mermaid waves cascading Anne’s outfit.
When asked if she were to be a goddess of anything, Anne answered with a laugh. “‘Yun pa rin—the OG dyosa!” she said, looking back on her role from 15 years ago. “I feel like it has such a special place in my heart being a goddess of air, of [the] ocean, [and] of the land. So definitely, still be the dyosa.”
In 2008, the actress starred in Dyosa, a fantaserye directed by the late Wenn V. Daramas. The It’s Showtime host took on the character of Josephine, an orphan who discovered her magical identity when she reached her coming of age.
