For the past few years, Arjo Atayde has been proving himself as an actor through various roles in television dramas. From a doting good son to his mother Sylvia Sanchez in Hanggang Saan to the vexing villain in Ang Probinsyano, he has explored opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to character morality. But it seems as if he has no plans on simply stopping at “the good” and “the bad”. In the future, Arjo shares that he’s out to explore the complex variety of characters one actor can portray.
But what motivates one Arjo Atayde in continuing to do something new in his craft? Turns out there is something more to Arjo than just the actor stereotype people box him in. For MEGA Man’s very first issue for 2019, the actor shares the struggles and pleasure of being an actor.
