The road to Miss Intercontinental 2018 has begun, and Katarina Rodriguez — the Philippines’ stunning bet — is already winning when it comes to the style department.
A few days ago, Katarina arrived atΒ Hurghada, Egypt, where the competition will be held on January 25. While touring around the said destination, the Filipina beauty queen proudly wore local creations by designers Rhett Eala and Benj Leguiab IV, which all fittingly spell modern “Egyptian goddess” — think a bronze body-hugging gown and a plunging, grecian-inspired dress.
Before we witness her fight for the crown, let’s take a look at all the queenly outfits she wore in Egypt:
1. Katarina made a statement upon her arrival, wearing a sheer black beaded top by Rhett Eala (it’s similar to what Maxine Medina wore for the designer’s “Queen” runway show at Manila Fashion Fest), which she dressed down with high-waisted white trousers with black detailing on its sides.
2. For one of the evening parties, Katarina looked fierce in a bronze body-fitting gown by Benj Leguiab IV, which boasts sultry reveals and gold hemlines. With her hair pulled back, the look is strong and sexy.
3. During a night out with her fellow contestants, the beauty queen was a goddess in her plunging Grecian-esque dress, complete with a crown made with leaves.
4.Β Rhett Eala seems to be one of Katarina’s favorite designers. In another festivity, she looked playful but chic in a pink fringe dress by the said designer. Could this be a hint that she’ll be wearing Rhett Eala’s creations for the pageant Γ la Maxine Medina?
