After their star-studded reunion, Bea and Heart find themselves forming a new bond that’s been due overtime
Nostalgia hit the air real hard a few weeks ago when Star Magic alumni Heart Evangelista, Maja Salvador, and Bea Alonzo posted pictures with their showbiz father figure, Johnny Manahan. Of course, fans couldn’t help but gush over the reunions of love teams and original hunks. The best part that came out of this reunion, though? The newfound friendship of Heart and Bea!

During the early 2000s, both actresses led their generation’s love team era alongside their on-screen partners John Lloyd Cruz and John Prats. Did you know that they even starred in a movie without getting any scenes together? In 2003, they starred in My First Romance, a movie dedicated to two love stories.
Now that they are much older and wiser, Heart and Bea finally made a conscious decision to form a friendship together. Why not? They are now in the same network just like before, and even go to the same beauty clinic. With their on and off-screen experiences under their own belts, we can only imagine the countless stories they are bound to share with each other!
After their reunion dinner, the two had a run-in during their recent Aivee day. Sporting a yin and yang outfit colorway, the actresses even had a mini photo session together. According to Heart, “Kinda like we’ve known each other ‘since grade school’ type of vibe. unexpected indeed!” Meanwhile, Bea commented on her post and said that she loves spending time with her fellow GMA star.
Fans of the two are happy to see the Kapuso actresses crossing paths again, stating their similarities in being smart and sophisticated. While we’re enjoying their reunion, here’s to hoping that they get to do an on-screen project, too!
