“Beauty is more than just a pretty face,” the artist once reflected on what beauty lesson she wants her fans to learn from her. ”It’s about loving and embracing oneself because when you do that, your inner beauty radiates from within, making your outer beauty look even more beautiful. So, when you start to feel beautiful, it radiates to the world around you, and you become a source of positivity and joy.”

The column often reminds everyone that beauty is different for everyone—and for Nikki Cruz? She perceives it as something that is skin-deep. “I think it’s a combination of qualities. Seeing someone who’s confident in themselves and is kind is what I find the most beautiful. That kind of beauty reaches beyond the physical aspect.”

Dominique Cojuangco

Dominique Cojuangco’s beauty philosophy is truly unforgettable. “Beauty sometimes has negative connotations of vanity,” she shared in a previous chat. “But there’s been an obvious shift in more positive word choices when referencing skincare and body care especially.” Her secret to embracing a more mindful approach to beauty? Simply look at these rituals as self-care rather than just a routine.

“Through my works and through everything I put out, I think it is evident that I am not a woman who sees beauty as something that has to be perfect,” Danielle Mangana shared as she contemplated on her best piece of beauty advice. “I like seeing real skin textures more. Defining techniques in makeup, never altering. Real eyebrows, real eyelashes, real everything.”

Kristina Rodulfo

Kristina Rodulfo’s entry is truly memorable. “I want to remind people that one, it’s supposed to be fun, and two, just do what works for you.” she shared, “It’s easy to get caught up in trends, what’s ‘in’ or ‘out,’ what the most popular beauty brand is, or how to do or how not to do a certain makeup technique—but at the end of the day, beauty is so personal. It’s not on me, a celebrity, a beauty editor, or anyone really to tell you what is best for you—only you know that.”
