From classic to trendy new looks, our favorite celebrities went all out for this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards.

Held at the Palladium in Los Angeles, the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards was attended by numerous celebrities as the U.S starts to ease some COVID-19 restrictions. Being one of the first few in-person awards shows to happen since last year, the attendees went all out and showed up in looks that were anything but boring.
Excited to see who the winners will be, we were glued to our screens to see who won each category. BUT the eye-catching looks the stars donned WERE enough for us to give each of them a round of applause. From subtle and more natural looks to bold and bright colors, the stars certainly did not disappoint on the red carpet.
Here are some of the beauty trends we’ve spotted at the 2021 MTV Movie and TV awards:
Classic Red Lip
Never going out of style, actresses Elizabeth Olsen and Kathryn Hahn both donned a classic red lip at the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards. Both the WandaVision stars looked elegant on the red carpet in their chic all-black ensembles.
Pop of Color
Total scene stealers, Riley Keough and Yvonne Orji decided to go for a pop of color for their looks on the awards show. While Yvonne Orji decided on a bright pink lip, Riley Keough took it a step further with bright blue eyeshadow around her eyes.
Soft and Subtle
Mandy Moore and Antonia Gentry took it down a notch with their neutral and minimalistic make-up looks. With subtlety as the key, Moore and Gentry look beautiful as they attended the show in sheer makeup that highlighted their flawless skin.
Hairy Situation
Bretman Rock and Yara Shahidi, on the other hand, focused on their locks by showing up in show stopping hairstyles. Bretman Rock posed with his wavy mullet, and Yara Shahidi donned intricate looking braids to the red carpet.
All About The Eyes
As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Both Lana Condor and Madison Bailey decided to focus on their eyes for their beauty looks this year. Condor showed up in a thick winged liner look that we loved, while Bailey accentuated her eyebrows by attending the awards show with the kind of fluffy brows that would make anyone jealous.
