The Sereese Beauty founder shares some behind-the-scenes glimpses before the red carpet
“This is my first ever MEGA Ball,” Reese Tayag-Regua—who graced the cover of the MEGA Woman December 2022 issue—shared while getting ready in her room at The Peninsula Manila Hotel. Settling into the makeup chair, she spilled her first thoughts on this year’s Art+Fashion theme, “I’m really looking forward to getting to know our Filipino culture [through our talented] artists.”
Supercharged routine
For the special evening, the Sereese Beauty founder followed a three-step skin routine. To bring some radiance to the skin, Reese prepped with several drops of Sereese Beauty Poreless White Glow Serum. “The main ingredient of this serum is niacinamide,” the 27-year-old beauty influencer explained. Soothing and good for minimizing pores, the brand’s star product also doubles as a primer.

For her ensemble, Tayag-Renua tapped celebrity fashion designer Ehrran Montoya. “Since tonight is a celebration of art and fashion, I feel like her work would be a perfect fit. Her designs are literal works of art,” she gushed.
Reese shared that the designer just showed her an initial sketch, leaving the rest as a delightful surprise. The tulle mini dress, in faint pinks and blues, nodded to Sereese Beauty’s signature colors. By layering large 3D roses on top of each other, the result was a feminine and delicate look.
She smiled and said, “If Sereese Beauty was a dress, this would be it,” before leaving the room looking glamorous to have a fun night out.
Reese chose to make a bold statement with diamonds from Wanderluxe by Jen. The 16-carat tennis necklace set in 14k yellow gold stood out as the showstopper of her pieces. She also wore a matching bracelet, earrings, and ring, mentioning that she chose the jewelry label because she wanted to support local businesses.
