The BENCH Body collection is proof that underwear is meant to stand out
Wrapping up day three of BENCH Fashion Week was a show-stopping finale from BENCH Body. In their most daring show yet, Vernissage stood as a preview of The Bench Show’s return after a seven-year hiatus. The collection went beyond a showcase of its conventional cuts. It reimagined ordinary undergarments as bold, fashionable outerwear, disrupting the belief that underwear is best kept hidden.

The show opened with the classic blacks and whites. It featured undergarments for both men and women in a range of conventional cuts, from bikini-cut briefs and high-cut intimates to flattering brassiere. Commanding more attention were the vibrant orange pieces that stood as the perfect contrast against the sleek monochromes. To those who believe that intimates are all about subtlety, this collection should tell you otherwise.
The latter part of the show featured a well-executed styling of intimates. The pieces were paired with sheer dresses and skirts, evening gloves, and knee-high patents, turning them into versatile ensembles for the everyday. A leading brand in intimate wear, BENCH Body continues to blur the lines between lingerie and your daily wardrobe.
And, in true BENCH fashion, no less than a star-studded roster graced the show. Celeste Cortesi, Sunshine Cruz, Ina Raymundo, and Kirk Bondad are only some of the top names that donned the looks with their trademark appeal. Joining them were Century Tuna Superbods grand winner Justine Felizarta and finalists Key Trajano, Aaron Davis, and Derick Hibaler.
The third day was a powerful conclusion to the Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2024. It was more than a showcase of the fittest models clad in stylish intimates; it shed an even brighter light on BENCH Body’s spot in the industry. Vernissage was a fitting ending to what has become one of the most highly anticipated biannual fashion events in the country, leaving the audience excited for the full view of the collection.
