As this year’s State Of The Nation Address commenced this afternoon, we saw newly elected senators, congresswomen and congressmen, and government officials walk the red carpet with their partners. And as they move past the cameras, a parade of beautiful ensembles grace their way into the Session Hall— undoubtedly leaving the spectators in a state of admiration. From floral embellishments to handwoven pieces that represent cultures, we see that the Filipiniana as well as traditional dressing is making a comeback with stylish and modern renditions.
