The second wave of the awards season is here. With the 24th annual Critics’ Choice Awards happening, numerous A-list celebrities once again garb themselves with exquisitely stunning dresses.

Cue Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron, and Lady Gaga, it is pretty evident that Hollywood’s finest women emerged at the Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar looking in every angle the definition of perfection. So as they made a case for the metallic trends to strutting the blue carpet in elegant form-fitting gowns, here are seven of the best-dressed women at the Critic’s Choice Awards.

Showing everyone what really works for her, Gemma Chan wore an A-line floral dress by Jason Wu. She channeled the coming spring featuring a very feminine and sophisticated print. It looks like she is truly the best artist to portray Astrid Leong.

Another Crazy Rich Asians star who’s always on the best-dressed list is Constance Wu. After sporting for a nude chiffon gown at the Globes, this time around, she kept things sparkly. Wearing a dazzling Rodarte dress punctuated by a plunging neckline, she was successful in catching the attention of the crowd.

Finally, dominating this year’s best-dressed list for the Critics’ Choice Awards is Charlize Theron. She looked every bit like a true red carpet royal wearing a diaphanous silver Givenchy gown. And as she made a case for the metallic trend, her pleated ensemble features a magnificent ombré effect. To complete her look, the Tully star wore an exquisite set of diamond jewelry.
