While straw bags and bamboo totes are here to stay, we’re pretty sure you don’t want to tote what everybody else already has this summer. So catch everyone’s attention with the best street style-approved designer bag that just arrived in Manila.
Refresh your wardrobe this summer with a new statement bag—particularly something that’s inspired by those catching the street style cameras. And if you’re thinking how to effortlessly achieve this, the answer is Danse Lente.
We’ve already seen a lot of fashion influencers toting a Danse Lente—from Camille Co’s floral ensemble, Laureen Uy’s yellow case, to Nicole Anderson’s look with a hint of 70s sensibility. The common denominator among them? They have easily captivated everyone with their chosen Danse Lente totes.
This season, the British label’s collection opted to present a color story that’s mainly drawn from Norman Parkinson’s photography. The key inspiration came from photographs taken between the 60s and 70s of women in exotic destinations at a time where travel had limitations.
The colors in “Pilar Creeps on the Steps” and Carmen Dell’Orefice’s 1959 Vogue cover, inspired the warm and muted tones of Toffee, Sawdust, and Moonseed within the collection. Then matte black hardware has been introduced for the first time, creating a balanced contrast to the notion of soft and hard, masculine and feminine.
Danse Lente Spring/Summer 2019 collection is now available in Rustan’s Makati and online.
