BTS Jin Takes the Lead on the Official Announcement of the Group’s Military Enlistment

Grammy nominated K-Pop group BTS will be undergoing mandatory military enlistment soon, according to an official announcement released by BIGHIT Music. The decision was finalized amidst the circulating debates on whether to give BTS an exemption from military service. 

On October 17, 2022, BIGHIT Music announced that BTS member Jin will be the first to undergo the enlistment process after the release of his solo project by the end of October. Meanwhile, other members like RM, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will follow with their enlistments based on their individual schedules.

BIGHIT Music clarified that they expect the group to be back on track by 2025, ensuring the ARMYs that there will be more happenings in the years to come for BTS.

It can be recalled that BTS dropped its first anthology album last June 10, 2022, with its lead single entitled “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).”  Furthermore, the group even had “Permission To Dance On Stage” concerts that kicked off earlier this year at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

BTS was last seen in their reunion concert held in Busan, South Korea. It happened on the 15th of October for the benefit of World Expo 2030, which introduced Korean culture to the worldwide audience. The free concert drew thousands of fans in a stadium, while some were watching the event live on large screens set up at several spots in the area.
