The newest roster of Binibining Pilipinas queens begin their reign after coveting the crowns and titles in the coronation night
All hail the new reigning queens in town! Angelica Lopez from Palawan and Anna Valencia Lakrini from Bataan bested 38 candidates earlier tonight and went home with their titles Binibining Pilipinas International and Binibining Pilipinas Globe, respectively.

Palawan’s representative brought her A game during the coronation night with her confident strut during the swimsuit segment, as well as her powerful projection during the evening gown competition.
Miss International 2022 Jasmine Selberg joined Binibining Pilipinas-International 2022 Nicole Borromeo into passing the crown to Angelica. Answering the question on walking the talk and going beyond self-promotion, the Palawan beauty emphasized the principles that her mother has instilled in her, making them her driving force. “[I am] a woman who has strength, courage, and tenacity,” she began. “The strength to decide for herself; what she wants, and works hard to achieve it. To also have the courage to face any obstacle of life, and tenacity to hold on to her wisdom of choice.”
Meanwhile, Anna Valencia Lakrini has been a crowd favorite since the beginning of the competition. She also bagged the Best in Swimsuit and Jag Denim Queen awards earlier tonight. In the question and answer portion, she highlighted the platform as the similar drive to both politicians and beauty queens. “I know that a beauty pageant is a platform in which we can talk about the causes that are dear to our hearts,” Anna answered.
Joining the titleholders are Binibining Pilipinas 2nd Runner-Up Atasha Reign Parani from General Trias, Cavite, as well as 1st Runner-Up Katrina Anne Johnson from Davao Del Sur.
