To welcome its newest and most long-lasting hydration line, Hydro X-Cell, Bioten Philippines brought out brand ambassadors Nadine Lustre and newly-instated Janine Gutierrez to talk about their skincare routines, their much-beloved Bioten products, and so much more. The Bioten Hydro X-Cell launch event was jam-packed with expert-led talks and engaging activities. To get the ball rolling, they had actress and brand ambassador Nadine Lustre lead a discussion on the brand’s previous product line, Skin Moisture, where she talked about her favorite products and daily skincare routine.
And as a vegan skincare brand, Bioten also makes sure to take steps in the right direction when it comes to sustainability and climate action. That’s why, not long after, Nadine delved into her and the company’s sustainability efforts with For The Future Philippines, and their shared commitment to the 88K Trees Campaign, which is a reforestation project based in the ancestral lands of the Yangil Tribe in Zambales.
After a discussion led by iFace, Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tony Chua and a diving spectacle to welcome the new hydration line, Bioten introduced its latest brand ambassador Janine Gutierrez. Here, Janine talked about why she’s endorsing the Hydro X-Cell line, her favorite products in it, which include the Micellar Cleansing Gel, and how she personally maintains her radiant skin.
The new hydration line
So what’s exactly new with Bioten? The Hydro X-Cell line introduces the brand’s new era of radiance and skin hydration. The Hydro X-Cell collection is formulated from natural ingredients of Cellular Water from Spirulina, Hyaluronic Acid, Phytoceramides, Tetrapeptide, and Caffeine. This particular blend is meant to ensure that the skin receives essential hydration and a protective shield that locks in moisture for up to 72 hours, solving the problem of dryness, dullness, and loss of skin elasticity amid our warm and tropical climate.
The collection is made up of six products: Hydro X-Cell Eye Gel Cream, Hydro X-Cell Moisturizing & Soothing Cream, Hydro X-Cell Gel Cream, Hydro X-Cell Micellar Water, Hydro X-Cell Supercharged Serum, and Hydro X-Cell Wash Gel.
Notably, the eye cream is designed to minimize puffiness around the eye area and reduce dark circles, while the Moisturizing & Soothing Cream is formulated especially for people with sensitive and dry skin to minimize redness and dryness. The Gel Cream, on the other hand, is recommended for use on normal to combination skin as it provides a 57% instant hydration increase.
Next up is the micellar water, which works to cleanse the skin of even waterproof makeup, and is ideal for all skin types. The Supercharged Serum is likewise suitable for all skin types and is meant to increase skin elasticity by 13% and strengthen your skin’s barrier. Last but not least is the Wash Gel, which also cleanses and refreshes your skin and is suitable for all skin types.
