BLACKPINK Serves a Pretty Savage Act at Coachella

Here’s how Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo made their Coachella comeback in true BLACKPINK fashion with sass and style

Four years after their Sahara stage debut at Coachella, the biggest quartet today brought their act to another level—this time, on the main stage. BLINKs witnessed the level up of BLACKPINK, as if transforming the musical festival into a tour stop of sorts for their Born Pink World Tour.

Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa prepared 14 songs for their fans, a combination of their title tracks and crowd favorites. Adding their individual stages, they had 18 numbers for the night. Signifying their upcoming appearance, the pink smoke enveloped the stage, which excited the audience. BLACKPINK began their Coachella comeback with last year’s hit called “Pink Venom.” Meanwhile, they wrapped up their performance with “Forever Young.”

In the first part of their stage, BLACKPINK donned outfits that corresponded to their group’s name with a pink trail element unifying their individual fashion. Jennie owned the cropped fashion with her corset and shorts lined with embellishments, topping it off with a bedazzled leather jacket. Meanwhile, Lisa’s sparkling sleeves reflected her signature on-stage style, adding a glam effect to her shorts with criss-cross detailing. Rosé’s first look of the night had spreaded frills all over her black lace corset top and shorts, while the same went for Jisoo’s halter top with a floral accent, underscoring her latest solo.

Making history as the first Korean act headlining Coachella, BLACKPINK continues to bring Asian talent to a global sphere. The group also announced additional stops in North America, extending their world tour until August of this year.
