Kim Chiu, Kylie Verzosa, and Darren Espanto are among the muses of Francis Libiran who graced “Sterling”, his 25th anniversary show
One of the ways a celebrity elevates their status is through their style. In the world of show business, it is no surprise that Francis Libiran rings a bell to many. In 2007, he created a yellow-gold dress for Anne Curtis at the first Star Magic Ball, which earned the actress a “Best Dressed Female of the Night” award. Fast forward to today, he continues to work his sartorial magic around the likes of Belle Mariano and Kim Chiu for their Star Magical Prom and ABS-CBN Ball appearances this year, respectively.

Known for his emphasis on detail and his eye for reinvention, Francis continues his ingenious craftsmanship with Sterling, his newest collection for his 25th year in the industry.
Celebrating with the designer are fellow artists who have worn his designs on a number of occasions in the past. True to her glamorous and sensual style, Kylie Verzosa donned a metallic cutout number. Meanwhile, Beatrice Luigi Gomez Gomez walked the runway in silver and black embroidered gown from the collection. Venus Raj, Kianna Valenciano, Darren Espanto, KD Estrada, and Alexa Ilacad were also clad in pieces that capture the designer’s liking for structure and Art deco inspired details. News anchors Korina Sanchez, Gretchen Fullido, and Kaladkaren were present at the event in their own iterations of a classic black dress. Meanwhile, for Erik Santos, Sam Milby, and Vina Morales, coming in color was a way to stand out. Completing the roster of stars was Kim Chiu, Libiran’s longtime muse, wearing a flattering floor length, mermaid-cut number.
