Louis Vuitton gathered its ambassadors, global stars, and South Korea’s biggest names to witness the marriage of street culture and fashion

Today, there is no denying of South Korea’s impact on fashion and culture all over the world. With the country’s contribution to luxury purchasing and brand representation, it is no surprise that Louis Vuitton took the initiative to work with South Korea for the latter’s tourism initiative. Marking this is the staging of the Maison’s Pre-Fall Collection at the Jamsugyo Bridge, crossing Han River—a first in the land of the east Asian country.

Just like the collection’s unified message of reiterating the essentials with a mix of contemporary elements, the event gathered personalities from the Republic of Korea to the resident names of Louis Vuitton for a night of a riveting sartorial exhibition by the river.

Chloë Grace Moretz

Louis Vuitton’s ambassador brought her leather game with a black skirt, jacket, and boots combination. Accentuating the gold detailing of her clothing is her boxy monogram handbag from the Fall/Winter 2023 show.

Hwang Dong-hyuk

The Squid Game director kept it casually dapper in a subtle printed tuxedo over its untucked rounded shirt. Serving as the creative advisor and set designer of the show, Dong-hyuk played with the idea of turning South Korea as a fashion capital with the collection’s exhibition.

Jada Pinkett-Smith and Jaden Smith

The mother and son tandem opted for an all-black ensemble with accents of the Louis Vuitton floral trademark. Joining the LV Archlight 2.0 campaign as one of its faces, Jaden sported his own pair on the occasion.

NewJeans’ Hyein

Last December, Louis Vuitton announced the youngest member of the ADOR girl group as its newest brand ambassador. Making an appearance in true NewJeans fashion, Hyein donned a denim skirt with her red high boots for that classic strike of charm.

Lee Sungkyung

Gracing the event as one of the most prominent South Korean actresses today, Sungkyung wore a black and white pleated dress with a padded neckline. Adding black elements to her whole ensemble, she finished her look with ankle boots and a clutch from the Twist Collection.

Maia Mitchell

Known for her youthful vibrancy on screen, the actress went for a primary color blocking outfit with her coordinates and red leather boots. Her choice of footwear definitely tied in well with her red lip choice.

TAEYEON

Just like the timeless appeal of SNSD’s tunes, the girl group’s leader sported a modern iteration of Louis Vuitton’s trunk—the reverse monogram trunk bag, a good match to her coat with monogrammed buttons as well.

ITZY’s Yeji

Another girl group leader in attendance, Yeji represented ITZY’s distinct power on the streets by sporting a collared LBD with her baggy boots. Her first solo event even made news online, trending on Twitter.

Stray Kids’ Felix

Felix made a denim entrance to the event with his full on jeans look. Giving his whole ensemble that signature dark detail just like their group’s music, he finished off his look with a black Epi Electric Petite Malle.

Kōki

The Japanese model-songwriter turned heads by donning an abstract tweed side-tied dress. Aiming to keep her look polished, she went for a neat, middle-parted hairstyle to finish it all off.

Gong Jun

The Chinese model-actor embodied the action star image with his messy hair and black and white top layered-assembly of waist and cut-away vests.

SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu

The rapper went for that tropical top and baggy bottom in his outfit for the night, embodying that cool persona that comes natural to him.

SUNMI

The Korean multi-hyphenate brought her effortless chicness to the event by incorporating chunky elements to her style with her Petite Malle bag and chained Archlight sneakers.

NCT 127’s Yuta

Clean and composed for the event’s exhibition, Yuta opted for a white base down to his footwear. Adding a break from the blank canvas, he topped it all off with a cropped denim jacket.
