Step into the modish world of Chanel as Netflix features Karl Lagerfeld and his final preparations for Chanel’s haute couture spring/summer 2018 show, held last January 2018.
According to Vogue, the French fashion house’s 2018 show will be featured in Netflix’s 7 Days Out – a documentary presenting different visionaries in the worlds of fashion, film, food, space, sports, and entertainment.
Andrew Rossi, who was also the brain behind the popular documentary The First Monday in May, has directed the documentary. From the ateliers to the runway, Rossi and his team were given full access weeks prior to the show to perfectly capture how the concepts and designs came to life.
Besides the actual creations, the documentary will also show how Lagerfeld and his team made it possible to create a palatial French garden setting with an 18th-century fountain complete with rose-studded pergolas surrounding.
Chanel’s haute couture Spring/Summer 2018 show will be the first episode of the documentary and will be available to watch on Netflix on December 21. This documentary will be an addition to the growing fashion content of Netflix which already includes “Dries”, “House of Z”, and “Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards”.
