Backstreet Boys, OneRepublic, and Harry Styles are just some of the performers landing in the Philippines this year
The year 2023 is definitely a big and eventful year for Filipino concert-goers because of the current lineup that consists some of the biggest artists in the music industry. If you still aren’t aware of who’s making a Philippine stop this 2023, here are some of the upcoming concerts you won’t want to miss:
Wallows
Wallows is an independent alternative rock band based in Los Angeles, California. The band is set to visit the Philippines on February 15 for their “Tell Me That It’s Over” Asia Tour. Some of their popular songs are “OK,” “Are You Bored Yet?,” and “1980s Horror Film.”
Backstreet Boys
Backstreet Boys is unarguably one of the best boy bands of their time, and the band is bringing their DNA World Tour 2023 to the Philippines this February 20. Their last concert in the country was before the global pandemic hit, which was in 2019.
Westlife
Relive your favorite 90s hits from February 20 to 21 as Westlife visits the Philippines for their “Wild Dreams” Tour. The band is known for their hits such as “Uptown Girl,” “My Love,” and “If I Let You Go.” The last time Westlife was in the Philippines was just three years ago when they celebrated their 20th anniversary.
OneRepublic
After seven years, OneRepublic will finally perform again for their Filipino audience this coming February 23, and the Philippines is their first Asian stop for their tour. This Grammy-nominated American band is the group behind the songs “Counting Stars,” “Good Life,” and “Apologize.”
Arctic Monkeys
British pop rock band Arctic Monkeys is scheduled to visit the Philippines for the first time this coming March 6. The band debuted in 2006 with the album Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. Recently, a track off their latest record was nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance at the 65th Grammy Awards.
Simple Plan
Don’t miss the chance to hear the songs “Welcome To My Life” and “Perfect” as Simple Plan visits the Philippines for their “Harder Than It Looks” Tour. The Canadian rock band will perform their hit singles on their concerts in Manila on March 10 and in Davao on March 12.
Harry Styles
This March 14, Harry Styles will be coming back to the Philippines for the third time, his second as a soloist, for his “Love on Tour” concert. The Grammy-award winning artist will be performing his hit songs like “Watermelon Sugar,” “Music for a Sushi Restaurant,” and “Sign of the Times.”
The 1975
After their first arena show in the Philippines last 2015, English pop-rock band The 1975 is set to make their grand comeback and perform for their Filipino fans this May 3 and 4. The upcoming concert is part of the band’s “At Their Very Best” tour.
