As speculations about the visit heighten on social media, Filipino pageant fans are also eagerly anticipating a special announcement. The exact purpose of the visit remains uncertain until now, but many are assuming that Anne JKN will possibly announce the Philippines as the next destination for the Miss Universe pageant in 2024. Along with this schedule, Miss Universe 2022 R’bonney Gabriel is also expected to fly to the country in May.

Looking back on history, Manila was the location of the pageant last 2016. The candidate who represented the Philippines was Maxine Medina. However, it was Iris Mittenaera of France who brought home the prestigious crown.

Given the momentous occasion that was written down in the Philippine pageant history, the possibility of a re-do really excites the country. Moreover, the Miss Universe Organization president captioned her Instagram post saying she is looking forward to screaming her catchphrase, “Hello, Universe!” to the Filipino audience.
