It’s very rare, I don’t think I ever requested anything specific. I just let her do her magic on me.” Having tried the lashes on her own, she tells a story of how applying the right pair can make the difference. “It adds drama and just completes the look,” Wurtzbach excitingly says as Niu timely puts on the lashes as the finishing touch. “Makeup is play. Makeup is supposed to be fun, there are no rules,” Wurtzbach tells me and looks at Niu as she adds, “It’s an art.”
Here are a few tips on how to use Pong Niu’s lash line to achieve a statement eye look:
LOOK WITHIN
How to achieve a natural cat-eye? It starts by learning your facial structure. Similar to a hairstyle, fake eyelashes have to match your face shape so if you’re looking for an easy feline flick in seconds to lift the face, go for a half lash in the outer corner.
EYE TO EYE
A crucial step in making sure fake eyelashes look as real as possible is taking your black eyeliner to seamlessly blend the band to your lash line and curling it all together.
KILLER STARE
Treat your lashes as the final piece of accessory. Especially with intense eyeshadows and dark lips, choosing the right full voluminous strip can make or break the look.
SEEING DOUBLE
Inspired by the daring time of the roaring twenties, long lashes are paired with dark heart-shaped lips for the ultimate glam look.
