Gathering several accomplishments from his now home—Los Angeles, Filipino fashion designer Puey Quiñones brings us his signature design of dramatic and elaborative pieces for the third day of MEGA Fashion Week 2019.
From international runways to his MET Gala debut, this jet setter has continued to showcase his talent in various places like Paris, New York, and LA to name a few. But even among the splendor of his successful career is a humble man that started with small beginnings, a lot of twists and turns in his career, and an awakening to his true calling in the fashion industry.
While he has much desire to still prove himself, Puey’s eye for fashion reached international standards. To mention a few, Katy Perry has worn his piece for her music video, and Asia’s Next Top Model featured his collections on the show.
After taking a good break away from his hometown, Puey is going beyond ordinary once again in a long time. “This [show] is my tribute to dear friend, Sari, who visited me in LA last year,” Puey shares with MEGA. “She told me not to forget my DNA in fashion.”
Bringing Puey Quiñones / Los Angeles line to Manila, Puey is ready to soar higher than ever before, bound to make his MEGA Fashion Week show a successful comeback.
