The world of tech is constantly changing. Every year, there’s a new coveted smartphone that all of us are eyeing, with a subtle desire to be the first of the bunch to acquire it. Whether it’s because of its lightness and gorgeously slim body, striking finish of its casing, or simply its high megapixel camera feature, flaunting such a smartphone never fails to elevate one’s everyday looks as you strut the metropolis.
That’s why it was just right for us to envision MEGAStyle’s June 2021 cover star Chie Filomeno embodying all the assets of the next top smartphones in the market that vivo has to offer: lightness, night selfie, and ultra slim. As we focused on its most iconic features, the young star impeccably portrayed the assets in ways we never expected as we photographed her—from feeling buoyant, making her beauty glow in the dark, to exhibiting her flexible, slim body.
Perhaps to say that she captivated everyone with her beauty would be an understatement. So to give justice on how she brought the assets of vivo’s next top smartphones to life, you will just have to see it, to believe it. After all, much like how one can only claim that a smartphone is the best, you have to experience it for yourself. Here are all the designers Chie Filomeno wore on her first ever MEGAStyle cover.
Above and Beyond
Showcasing the lightness of every vivo smartphone, Chie Filomeno shows us how a true star struts the city en vogue. Donning a dove gray metallic dress by AJ Javier, complemented by a sparkling body chain and crystal thigh-high mesh boots by LA Glamour Queen as well as gemstone rings by Devaluchi Joiallerie, she looks like she’s definitely on cloud 9.
Cutting Edge
Much like how the vivo smartphone is set to dominate the tech market with its cutting edge design, the young star wears a beautifully crafted laser-cut dress with embellished crystals on the bodice by Rian Fernandez. Combining the beauty of futurism and old world glamour, this probably tells us that we have truly come a long way in the world of technology.
Atomic Blonde
Seems like Atomic Blonde has gone rogue for this month’s cover as Chie channels the ever-chic undercover agent wearing a leather patent jacket and skirt from KIMIKIMI. She then complements the reflective patent fabrics with a diamond ear cuff by Devaluchi Joiallerie and crystal mesh ankle boots by Yves Camingue.
Ground Zero
Unbothered and unperturbed, Chie Filomeno makes a nonchalant pose evocative of any established designer brand. She dons this Versus Versace bralet from Cul De Sac under a knitted dress by Rod Malanao. And to keep her look fun yet chic, she wears a rainbow-sapphire diamond necklace and bracelet by Devaluchi Joaillerie, and black feathered embellished socks by No. 21 from Cul De Sac partnered with Jefferson Si’s black platform heels.
Of Flexibilities and Sexiness
Taking us back to the good ol’ 80s, Chie Filomeno proves to us she’s a true dancer who can rock any era—especially if it has to do with spandex. More than her sexy body, she surprised us with her flexibility wearing a faux-leather swimsuit by Bessie Besana over a full bodysuit by Robert Hiyas. To cap this iconic look, she struts in transparent stiletto boots by Maison Margiela from Cul De Sac.
