Kathryn and Daniel seemed ready to become real-life bride and groom in the latest update shared by their friend, Janus Del Prado
Almost into their 11th year as on-screen and off-screen partners, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla made their fans swoon over a latest update on the two. At the reception of Cathy Garcia-Sampana’s beach wedding, the couple joined guests for the wedding traditions. By some magical twist of fate, just like their relationship, the couple caught the garter and bouquet during the occasion. Daniel’s response when the actress held the bouquet? “Bukas na, bukas na!”

Over the years, Kathryn and Daniel have opened up on their wedding plans. With their long-running relationship, it is no surprise that they have been talking about tying the knot. In a Magandang Buhay interview, they shared that a beach wedding is a possibility for them in the future.
But if we’re going to ask them when, the two have already answered the question almost a year ago. Sharing a conversation with directors Cathy Garcia-Sampana, Mae Cruz-Alviar, and Olivia M. Lamasan, the two explained their view on marriage.
“Ako kasi, looking forward na du’n. 27 na ako. Tsaka dati pa naman, 16, 17 years old pa lang kami, pinag-uusapan na namin ‘yun!” the actor shared. Meanwhile, Kathryn opened up on how their initial target date for settling down would push further because of their priorities, with career as one of them.
“Trenta usapan natin, hindi na mamomove!” the actor joked. In response to her beau, Kathryn replied, “You can’t say that to me. Kasi sa marriage, dapat pareho tayong ready. And hindi pa tayo ready. Kailangan pa nating aralin ang buhay.”
Over the next couple of months and until the next year, Kathryn and Daniel are bound to take their individual trajectories with their own projects. Of course, part of their plans includes a reunion film with Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
Who knows? Maybe right after their respective movies, we will finally see the couple taking their relationship to the next level. Along with their KathNiel fans, we all have our fingers crossed for Kathryn and Daniel.
