Oud & Bergamot
Hypnotic, mysterious, and alluring. Hailing from Middle Eastern traditions, the richness of the black musk is brightened by a citrusy freshness from the bergamot. It’s best to try this with Jo Malone London’s Lime Basil & Mandarin.
Jasmine Sambac & Marigold
Described to be enticing, opulent, and addictive, the sophistication of the Jasminium sambac from India is paired with the bright vibrance of marigold. The floral notes combined with the warmth of vanilla and amber gives a compelling richness to the overall scent. This is best paired with Poppy & Barley.
Cypress & Grapevine
The freshness of cypress and the sensual notes of grapevine is infused with the woody warmth of moss, making this scent aromatic, gallant, and evergreen. It’s recommended to be paired with the brand’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt.
Myrrh & Tonka
From the richness and warmth of the Namibian myrrh tree, this scent is mixed in with the lush vanilla notes from the tonka bean. This noble and intoxicating aroma is best paired with English pear & Freesia.
Velvet Rose & Oud

Jo Malone London is starting off the new year right with the relaunch of Cologne Intense. With the updated packaging of the enigmatic collection, the imagery they present now directly ties to the stories each of the fragrances were inspired by. The new packaging took inspiration from precious stones and jewels, emulating the intensity and warmth of the collection.
“Because the fragrances themselves are so sensual and intense, so are the images we try to create around them, which also celebrate the sense of mystery and discovery that speaks to the idea of traveling to foreign lands and uncovering rare treasures,” Wandjina, Global Head of Creative, expressed in regards to the collection’s visual interpretation and packaging.
