As the owners explain it, fluid art is simply letting go of the things you cannot control and learning that everything can go wrong and right at the same time. The introduction of fluid art to the Philippines
Kim Emnace, one of the owners of The Bear Cave, said that the idea of bringing this form of art to the country began eight months ago. She shared that when her husband, Clyde Emnace, was severely depressed after suffering a road bike accident, she took him to an art class in Sydney to help him recover. Kim said that they had a great time and were fascinated by the idea of fluid painting. “Art literally brought us back to life. The whole experience was so fun and fascinating, and that’s when we thought of creating a fun space in the Philippines since there’s nothing like this here yet,” she mentioned. Kim also mentioned that she enjoys collecting memories through new activities, which inspired them to work hard to introduce this pastime to the Filipino people and provide them with a positive outlet for creatively expressing their thoughts and feelings.
