Here are the fabulous figures who will determine who is the next Filipino Drag Superstar:
Jiggly Caliente
The perfect judge for the competition is a Drag Race alumna herself! Jiggly joined the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, made a comeback in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. As one of the two permanent judges, she will surely be able to gauge who should stay or sashay away.
KaladKaren
Best known for impersonating news anchor Karen Davila, KaladKaren’s eloquence working as a presenter, producer, and writer can surely help in empowering the drag queens on the show to fully express themselves.
This season, here are the judges who will take turns in deliberating the performances of our queens:
BJ Pascual
Besides taking charge of the camera, BJ is also a creative who comes up with concepts for his subjects’ shoots. From Filipino celebrities such as Nadine Lustre and Pia Wurtzbach to international model such as Coco Rocha and YouTube makeup guru Michelle Phan, the list goes on. His eye for fashion is also evident with his personal style. Will our queens have a fashion editorial challenge led by the photographer? We’ll find out soon enough!
Jon Santos
If we’re going to talk about impersonation, then it’s impossible you won’t hear of the name Jon Santos. With his three-decade experience in the industry as a performer, he can definitely give sound advice to the contestants. But the question is, will the they pass the standards of a legend?
