SANBERA SNEAKERS
The white sneaker has been coveted by everyone since the minimalist trend started. The ease and versatility of the white sneaker is what got Mikko de la Paz start his own sneaker company, Sanbera, last June. “The initial vision was to create a local Filipino footwear brand that captures the essence of minimalism and simplicity through the overall design and feel of the sneakers. As a brand as young as we are, we are still making decisions in service of that initial vision and continue to explore its design,” shares De la Paz. The shoes may look simple but the Sanbera sneaker has versions with coconut-shredded insoles as well as natural rubber sourced from Davao.
